Chris joined Nishball, Carp, Niedermeier, Pacowta & Co., P.C. in 1988 after a 13-year career with the international CPA firm of Ernst & Young (successor to Arthur Young & Company).

As Director of the Manufacturing Industry Services Group, Chris has spent most of his 30-year career working with and advising entrepreneurs in a wide-range of manufacturing industries, including  metal, medical and food products, high technology, electronics assembly and specialty equipment fabrication and assembly. Consulting projects have included manufacturing cost analysis and control, cost system implementations, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, due diligence analysis for mergers and acquisitions, preparation of business and strategic plans, obtaining venture capital and financing, tax planning, business valuations and forensic accounting.

In addition to working with manufacturing companies, Chris also provides accounting, auditing and consulting services to automobile dealerships, equine practitioners, various service businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Chris is currently Vice President of the CPA Manufacturing Services Association, a national association of CPA firms specializing in servicing manufacturing companies. Other professional associations include the American Institute of CPA’s and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. His many community activities currently include leadership positions with the Rotary Club of Bridgeport (Connecticut), the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA and Connecticut Commuters, Inc.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in Applied Math from Brown University Providence, RI and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern University Boston, MA. He was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant 1977.
